About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Culver City, California. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role requires customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to security-related concerns. The schedule is Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $19.32 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Applicable state or local licensing requirements may apply.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

- Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to help maintain orderly entry and exit.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following escalation and reporting procedures.
- Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
