About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Arlington, Virginia, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and employees. You will respond to security-related concerns, document activity, and provide customer service and clear communication. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

The role includes carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities, monitoring access points and visitor activity, and preparing accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications. Pay is $20.60 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly operations.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
