About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Patrol Officer to support a financial institution location in Binghamton, New York. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitors assigned areas, and provides customer service and clear communication. The role is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $24.75 per hour. The position includes site-specific security procedures and emergency responses, handling incidents and alarms, patrols of interior and exterior areas, monitoring access and visitors, and documenting and communicating observations. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and may be subject to background and drug screening. State or local licensing may be required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Complete accurate reports and activity logs, and promptly communicate observations and incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
