Security Officer Part Time Patrol Observation

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol officer at a retail distribution location in Easton, Pennsylvania. The officer will help safeguard employees and visitors by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, providing customer service, and documenting observations. The role includes a Monday and Friday schedule from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and loading docks to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response activities.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in clear, timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
