Security Officer Part Time Access Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Fayetteville, North Carolina, at a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel. The role pays $16.41 per hour and is scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Additional shifts may be available through Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and applicable emergency-response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Accurately and completely document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in required reports.
