About The Position

As a part-time, unarmed Hospital Patrol Officer in Cleveland, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients in a healthcare setting. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through customer service, clear communication, and teamwork. You will respond professionally to evolving situations while following site procedures and policies. The role offers access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts.

Requirements

Be willing to comply with hospital vaccination requirements.
Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and compliance with site access requirements.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
