Security Officer Part Time Access Patrol

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support a busy retail distribution location in Savannah, Georgia. The officer will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service while working with site personnel. The position is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and pays $16.26 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening in accordance with applicable law.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, distribution center policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing authorized personnel and visitors, and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs according to company and site-specific requirements.
