About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for overnight screening at a manufacturing and industrial location in Clyde, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard employees, visitors, and facility operations by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and maintaining a secure environment. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM. Pay is $17.51 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Possess a valid driver's license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Monitor and control facility access, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Operate access-control systems, surveillance equipment, radios, and other site technology.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs.
