About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a government-related distribution location. The officer will provide customer service and help maintain a welcoming environment while conducting interior and exterior patrols, monitoring access points, responding to security concerns, and following site-specific procedures. The role is scheduled for daytime hours on Monday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized vendors while following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including loading docks, parking areas, delivery zones, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points, verify credentials or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of entries, deliveries, and incidents.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; report observations promptly and follow established escalation procedures.
Maintain a professional presence while communicating with site contacts and public-service personnel.
Complete clear, timely reports on patrol activities and security-related incidents.
