Security Officer Full Time TS SCI Clearance Required Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer to serve at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Chantilly, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard the site, deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and support a welcoming environment while following site-specific procedures and responding to site needs. The position pays $33.35 per hour and follows a weekday day schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. An active DoD TS-SCI clearance is required. Applicants must meet the applicable age requirement, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and complete required background and drug screening, subject to applicable law. State or local licensing may also be required before employment.
Requirements
- Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
- Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
- Report observations, hazards, and policy concerns clearly and promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
