About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Sunnyvale, California. The position involves driving patrols and requires an active DoD TS-SCI clearance and a valid driver’s license. The officer will provide customer service, follow site-specific security policies and access-control requirements, monitor activity, respond to incidents, and document security events and shift handoffs.

Requirements

An active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants must undergo a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Applicants must undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report irregularities.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, business operations spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs according to company and site requirements.
