About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for an aerospace and defense location in Huntsville, Alabama. The officer will safeguard clients, personnel, and operations by conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and following site-specific procedures. The role requires professional communication, customer service, and responsiveness while working with a security team. The position pays $20.05 per hour. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. The role requires an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance and at least six months of security-related experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least six months of security-related experience.
- Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; document and report observations promptly.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and parking areas.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery procedures according to site requirements.
- Maintain activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications.
- Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as needed.
