Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a driving post at an aerospace and defense location in Moorestown, New Jersey. The officer will help safeguard personnel, visitors, contractors, and the site by conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. The position pays $19.36 per hour and follows a schedule with shifts Monday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Thursday 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m., and Friday through Sunday 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Applicants must have an active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A state, county, or city-issued security license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred. The job requires a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Drug screening, to the extent permitted by law.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and promptly communicate observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while protecting confidential operational and billing-related information.
