About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in San Francisco, California. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The schedule and available extra shifts offer flexibility to supplement income or work toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $27.90 per hour. The posted shift is Monday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service, follows site procedures and policies, responds to incidents and emergencies, patrols a retail location, monitors access and activity, and documents and communicates observations and incidents. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local law.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
