About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer for a part-time enhanced position at an assigned site in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The role offers a fixed weekly shift that serves as a reliable base schedule and requires a six-month commitment. The employee may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed. Pay is $17.41 per hour, with weekly pay.

The position provides security and customer service for food and beverage production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter. Duties include patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout food and beverage production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, unusual conditions, and potential policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
