About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Johnstown, Ohio. The role provides a designated weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to that assignment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company's scheduling platform, potentially working up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The position pays $20.60 per hour and is scheduled for Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Pass a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills during incidents and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor, employee, and delivery personnel entry procedures according to site requirements.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and promptly communicate incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
