About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location in Piedmont, South Carolina. The officer will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control and alarm response, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. The role involves customer service, clear communication, and use of computer-based systems. The position is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, evacuations, and other critical situations according to established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Prepare accurate reports on patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
