About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer in an incident response role at a healthcare location in Elkton, Maryland, you will help safeguard clients and provide a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and pays $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter; identify unusual activity and report observations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific requirements, supporting an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and completed duties, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
