Security Officer Part Time Incident Response

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a financial institution location in Port Isabel, Texas. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and help deter incidents. The role also involves providing professional customer service to employees and visitors, responding to security concerns with integrity, and following site-specific procedures. The scheduled shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Pay is $13.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor records according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
Provide customer service and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
