About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government transportation location in Fort Worth, Texas. The officer will safeguard the location by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to concerns and incidents, and providing customer service and communication to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors. The posted schedule is Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeters; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Respond calmly to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors and passengers, and help maintain orderly operations.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site procedures.
