About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and deterring security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication, using computer or tablet systems as needed. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role includes responding to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations according to established site protocols; observing personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries; documenting patrol findings and unusual conditions; and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Employment is subject to a background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, employee entrances, trailer yards, and the exterior perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries to help deter unauthorized activity.
Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
