About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a gate-related construction assignment in Mobile, Alabama. The role emphasizes customer service and building confidence through meaningful interactions. Officers welcome and assist visitors, verify identities, guide people, manage access, patrol the site, and help protect people and property. They also respond to incidents, provide first aid, coordinate with emergency teams, answer questions, document incidents, and report security or equipment concerns. Two 40-hour weekly schedules are listed: Monday–Tuesday 10 p.m.–6 a.m. and Monday–Tuesday 6 p.m.–6 a.m.; or Monday–Tuesday 6 a.m.–2 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state security license if required; the posting also states that a security license is required.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.
