About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor for threats and help protect people and property. The position involves observing security screens and systems, detecting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, and working in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The schedule is Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $16.00. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have good eyesight and the ability to maintain focus.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a driver's license with no restrictions.
• Have an unexpired TWIC card in hand in hard-copy form.
• Have computer skills, such as data entry or front desk receptionist skills.
• Have previous security experience.
• Be able to walk and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
