About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Carson, California, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic location and its surrounding perimeter. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond professionally to concerns, provide customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff to support a welcoming environment. This is a driving position. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:30 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and help maintain awareness of authorized visitors, deliveries, and personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
