About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer at a residential location in Duluth, Georgia, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and staff. You will help deter incidents through a visible presence, attention to detail, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. The position pays $21.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the residential community by verifying authorized entry, documenting visitor and vendor information, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations, escalating matters according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of community entry points, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate activity logs, access records, and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
