Security Officer Perimeter Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in West Des Moines, Iowa, serving a financial institution. The unarmed officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supports access control, and provides customer service to employees, visitors, and guests. The position is scheduled for overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATM locations, and the surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity; report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
