We are currently hiring for two Security Officer positions at an educational campus. These roles are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment during overnight hours through patrols, monitoring, and emergency response. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.
Comfortable performing regular vehicle and foot patrols.
Valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of dormitory buildings to ensure quiet hours are being observed.
Patrol the main school building to ensure all areas are secure and unoccupied after hours.
Check doors and access points to verify buildings remain properly secured.
Respond to fire alarms and assist with building evacuations when necessary.
Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.
Position vehicle strategically to monitor dormitory and school building activity.
Observe and report suspicious, unsafe, or unusual activity.
Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
Communicate effectively with site staff and emergency responders as needed.
