About The Position

As a full-time unarmed security officer at a retail and mall location in Campbell, California, you will help safeguard clients and contribute to a welcoming environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and team members. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior spaces, and perimeter locations, to identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Monitor access points and activity, and help maintain orderly movement of visitors, deliveries, and vendors.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
