About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare location in Greensboro, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role uses clear communication and technology and represents Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and a people-first approach. The posted schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency-response procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations, following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and escorts as needed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
