Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Navigation
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver to support a busy logistics and distribution location in Orlando, Florida. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The posted schedule is Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $21.00 per hour. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, loading and delivery zones, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access activity, verify authorized entry according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when directed.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
