About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves safeguarding clients and facility occupants through routine patrols, a visible security presence, incident response, and customer service. Officers follow site-specific procedures and post orders, monitor access points and activity, document incidents and daily activities, and communicate during shift handoffs. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government facility occupants while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established post orders and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building interiors, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
