Security Officer Part Time Visitor Management

About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Visitor Management at a food and beverage production location in High Point, North Carolina, you will help safeguard the site by managing entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and maintain a professional, visible presence to help deter incidents. The role includes access control, visitor and vehicle logging, facility patrols, and supporting food-production access and hygiene protocols. The position pays $15.00 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Additional shifts may be available through the company’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor and control entry and exit points; verify visitor and contractor credentials; issue access credentials; and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle logs.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
Support facility access requirements for food production operations by directing visitors and contractors to designated entry points and following hygiene and site access protocols.
