About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including technology, media, and telecommunications. In this front desk role, you will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service while supporting a professional and secure environment through clear communication and attention to detail.

This is a full-time position scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.25 per hour. Allied Universal provides access to training, career growth opportunities, a retirement savings plan, insurance benefits, and discounts through its Perks Program.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badges.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a front desk.
• Manage visitor sign-in, validate identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records according to site-specific policies.
• Monitor front desk communications, answer and direct calls, coordinate with appropriate site contacts, and explain visitor procedures.
• Observe access points and reception-area activity, report unusual conditions or access concerns, and help deter unauthorized entry by maintaining a professional presence and following established procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and support emergency response activities when needed.
