About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Wharton, New Jersey, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. In this front desk security role, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide customer service and communication. You will maintain a visible, professional presence while supporting a secure environment.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security license.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.
Alarm panel experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
Monitor incoming calls, communications, and visitor activity; direct individuals to appropriate contacts and report unusual activity to site leadership.
Support security-related procedures for deliveries, driver check-ins, and access to administrative or operational areas as assigned.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established emergency response protocols.
