About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers to staff a distribution facility in Minooka, Illinois. Officers safeguard clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting patrols. Entry-level applicants are welcome. The listed pay rate is $17.50 per hour. A job fair is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 621 Bob Blair Road, Minooka, IL 60447.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
