About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the premises, providing access control, and watching the site from a vehicle. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area. The role may also include providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. This part-time position is based in Southampton, New Jersey, with shifts available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on various days, including Saturday and Sunday, Thursday and Friday, or Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Candidates need open availability. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Standard computer and technology skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Active New Jersey SORA license or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license.
• Open availability to work various days during the stated 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. hours.

Nice To Haves

• Previous security experience is highly preferred.
• Retail, food service, or hospitality experience is considered a good fit.
