Security Officer Part Time Site Observation

About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Whitsett, North Carolina, you will help safeguard clients and provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, support authorized access, respond to incidents, and document your observations. The role uses computer or tablet tools and calls for professional communication, integrity, and teamwork. The posted schedule is Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.89 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements that may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to help maintain authorized access to designated areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as required.
Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
