Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Aid
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to support an educational location in Ashburn, Virginia. The officer will help safeguard students, staff, visitors, and the school community by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to concerns, and providing professional customer service. The role involves following site-specific procedures and representing the company’s culture with integrity. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pay is $18.87 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Nice To Haves

- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures to help maintain an orderly learning environment.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
