About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at an automotive location in Vance, Alabama. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service to employees and visitors. The posted schedule is Monday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.
CPR certification.
Customer service experience.
CPR and First Aid experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized persons to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
