About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Arlington, Virginia. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to concerns, documenting activity, and providing customer service. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $25.12 per hour. The role requires at least one year of security-related experience and an active DoD Secret clearance. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR and First Aid certification, computer or tablet familiarity, and a guard card or license are preferred. Employment is subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements vary by applicable laws and regulations; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only. Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding business areas, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations; identify and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization under site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or other concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notifications according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
