About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Easton, Pennsylvania. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves professional interaction with employees, visitors, and drivers, with an emphasis on customer service and clear communication. Scheduling is on Saturdays and Sundays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The position pays $18.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services when directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter, and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications according to company and site requirements.
