About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer serving a residential community in Culver City, California, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, greet residents and visitors, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while helping support a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and pays $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures and security policies.
Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
Respond professionally to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of access activity, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
