As a Security Officer Access Compliance in Sioux City, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
Control access to the facility by verifying identification, screening authorized visitors and contractors, issuing credentials as applicable, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
