About The Position

Securitas Security Services is hiring unarmed Security Officers to support clients SIG Sauer and Lonza at locations in Durham, Rochester, Exeter, and Newington (Portsmouth), New Hampshire. Full-time and part-time roles are available. The position offers flexible scheduling across first, second, and third shifts, with weekday and weekend schedules available; scheduling preferences are discussed during the interview process. Pay is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour. The ideal candidate has a military, law enforcement, or security background, as well as strong leadership and managerial capabilities. Previous security or management experience is preferred but not required; Securitas provides a comprehensive training program. Candidates should be dependable, professional, and committed to providing security services. The role involves patrols, access control, remaining alert, and interacting professionally with a wide range of people. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Standard computer and technology skills.
Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Strong customer service skills.
Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally.
Must be able to conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout the shift in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to stay alert and have strong attention to detail.
Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.
Must have a reliable means of transportation and communication.
