About The Position

Securitas Security Services is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers to support clients SIG Sauer and Lonza at locations in Durham, Rochester, Exeter, and Newington (Portsmouth), New Hampshire. This is an unarmed security role. Officers provide security services and may perform access control duties and foot or mobile patrols throughout their shifts, including in varied weather conditions. Securitas offers a comprehensive training program, with opportunities for growth and advancement. Flexible scheduling is available across first, second, and third shifts, with weekday and weekend schedules. Availability and scheduling preferences will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Standard computer and technology skills.
Reliability, accountability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
Ability to conduct foot and/or mobile patrols throughout a shift and in various weather conditions.
Comfort with conducting access control duties.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Military or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Previous security or management experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Military service or law enforcement background.
Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
