About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Rincon, Georgia, to support access authorization at a logistics location. The role monitors entry points, verifies access credentials, documents visitor and contractor entry, and maintains a professional presence to help deter security-related incidents. It involves communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and drivers while providing customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy.

The schedule is Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.03 per hour. Duties include following site procedures, responding calmly to incidents, maintaining accurate security records, and conducting regular and random patrols. Site working environments and conditions may vary.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and following established access-control procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Maintain accurate security logs, access records, and incident documentation according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
