Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Integrity
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in San Francisco, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by providing customer service, conducting patrols, supporting access control, responding to incidents, and communicating and documenting activities. The position pays $27.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. A guard card or license, access-control and badge experience, and customer-service experience are preferred. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements depend on applicable laws and may need to be met before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency-response activities at a commercial waterfront location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, docks, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and restricted areas, and verify access permissions according to site-specific procedures.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
