About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Carrollton, Texas, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, supports access control and badge processes, and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves customer service, clear communication, and using technology to document activities and support daily operations. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.15 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures; document observations and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following post orders and emergency protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
