About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Front Desk Visitor Registration in Lake Mary, Florida, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer welcomes visitors, manages access control and badge processes, monitors entry activity, and provides customer service to support a secure and welcoming environment. The role involves following site-specific access procedures, security policies, and emergency response procedures. Officers respond professionally to visitor concerns and incidents, report issues to appropriate contacts, and assist with front-desk communications and deliveries.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, confirm appointments, and direct guests according to site-specific access procedures.
Monitor visitor entry and departure, issue and collect visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs and related documentation.
Support security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services when needed.
Monitor front-desk communications, receive deliveries, and report suspicious activity, access concerns, or facility issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.
