About The Position

As a Security Officer Outdoor Patrol Compliance in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol a residential property, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, respond professionally to situations, and provide exceptional customer service. The role is full-time and pays $18.95–$19.85 per hour. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
